Dennis Quaid is an American actor who has been working steadily since the late 1970s. He broke through in Breaking Away and The Right Stuff, then built a long run of well-known films including The Big Easy, Great Balls of Fire, Dragonheart, The Parent Trap, Frequency, Far From Heaven, and The Rookie. In recent years he has leaned into faith-based projects and played Ronald Reagan in the 2024 biopic Reagan.
